Mayvin is currently seeking an experienced candidate for our Subject Matter Expert- Senior (UxS) position. The successful candidate will work unmanned systems (UxS) requirements with the program team to execute initiatives, develop, and maintain project plans, and assume day-to-day project and acquisition administration in support of US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Ft. Liberty, NC. Must have a Top Secret clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen. Responsibilities: * Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling activities necessary to meet the deliverables associated with the UxS R&D Office * Identifies and recommends resolution to challenging problems or issues that often cross organizational boundaries and impact on the accomplishment of strategic objectives. Typical assignments include participating in large project teams; assisting with defining and developing internal material solutions; orchestrating test and evaluation events and providing recommendations to the UxS R&D team * Support training, testing, evaluation, maintenance, safety, environmental issues, employment, operation, funding, tactics, acquisition, and UxS doctrine development * Develops documentation to support US Army Airworthiness Release (AWR) messages for non-standard aircraft and assists in moving AWRs through staff channels for approval. Generate Memorandums of Agreements (MOA) and Statements of Requirements (SOR) for all ISR requirements * Provides analysis and input to the organization's programmatic budgetary planning process for future UxS development, procurement, and sustainment * Utilizes knowledge of SOF, training, readiness, organization, UxS support to the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit and Analyze (F3EA) cycle, Army and Joint Aviation standardization and safety, FAA Policy, Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), SOF Capabilities Integration Development System (SOFCIDS), and resource requirements to integrate functions and tasks into all facets of SOF AISR * Supports the planning and execution of flight testing and demonstrations for UxS at various locations. Develop flight test plans, test cards and schedules that support the organizational timelines and goals * Proficient in the DOD requirements generation process, including grasping the concepts of Key Systems Attributes (KSA), Key Performance Parameters (KPP), and Threshold/Objective test requirements Qualifications: * Minimum of Bachelors Degree * Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in unmanned systems or related fields. * Strong understanding of ISR policies, plans, programs, and doctrine. * Proven experience in tactical A-ISR support and SOF Operations. * Familiarity with commercial UAS, UGVs, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and ATAK. * Background in flight techniques and aircraft engineering. * Knowledge of USSOCOM regulations and relevant FARs.
