Duties * You will provide specialized legal support and services to victims and witnesses in accordance with applicable regulations and guidance. * You will coordinate with officers and other employees engaged in the detection, investigation, and prosecution of crimes, the confinement of service members, and the change of inmate status. * You will coordinate services with federal and local governmental, civilian, and non-profit organizations, as appropriate, to ensure victims' needs are met, to maximize available services. * You will ensure the date of all victim witness assistance program related actions and correspondence are appropriate recorded in the appropriate electronic case management system. * You will provide instruction and training to Marine Corps judge advocates and legal services specialist to ensure all parties understand the purpose of the victim witness assistance program and their respective roles and responsibilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
