Lead Operations Engineer with Security Clearance

Responsibilities & Qualifications The program will provide direct IT services support to customer mission applications, systems, custom capabilities, supporting infrastructures, and other technology-based solutions in the CONUS and OCONUS. TekSynap provides custom-developed IT capabilities and operationalize advanced technologies from public, private, and academic sectors to support customer mission requirements. The program provides the ability to innovate and adapt capabilities, leveraging analytical Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) learned from embedded support to Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and tactical operations. This program includes, software development, data integration, system integration, direct operations, engineering, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to mission applications, mission systems, and supporting infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES The Lead Operations Engineer will serve as TekSynap's lead engineer, SME, and senior technical advisor to customer leadership for engineering, delivery, and coordination of technology solutions to deployed and remote mission partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Ensuring that customer mission capabilities, infrastructure, systems, and applications are tested in compliance with customer, DoD, and IC instructions, directives, frameworks, and standards. * Preparing and maintaining Assessment and Test Plans. * Proposing efficient methods of maintaining test plans to minimize paperwork and cost. * Developing or identifying Test Procedures and Test Cases for each new DTRA software application, widget, system, integration effort, or technology insertion into the mission enclave as requested by the customer. * Executing approved test procedures to validate the implementation of cybersecurity controls and requirements for customer assets. * Conducting security control assessments in compliance with DoD and IC cybersecurity instructions and RMFs. * Reviewing and assessing software code, review software code scans and assessment reports, and operate software code scanning tools as prescribed by DoD RMFs and technical guides. * Designing, implementing, and maintaining a test environment on each level of network as directed by the customer and in coordination with the SCA or other Government testing authorities. * Preparing reports that capture all tests/assessments and results with content and structure as approved by the SCA and/or the customer. * Providing robust, flexible, secure, and sustained deployed IT capabilities to the customer and its mission partners. * Overseeing a 24x7 phone response and remote support to deployed users of customer expeditionary capabilities. * Providing support including assembly, integration, O&M, pre-deployment training, logistics, shipping, and Tier II and III technical support and remote user support. * Performing logistics services. * Providing hands-on, system-specific training to familiarize users with the assembly, operation, disassembly, and inventory control of deployed IT capabilities. * Procuring, designing, integrating, supporting, and maintaining wireless, microwave, and satellite and communications capabilities in response to mission requirements. * Providing on-site service desk staff in customer Reston facilities to support customer mission applications and systems, as defined in the scope of this contract. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
