Duties * You will serve as product manager for Navy DevSecOps solutions like Black Pearl, collaborating closely with the Marine Corps counterpart within the Neptune Cloud Management Office. * You will leverage your recent experience as a DSO product manager or practitioner, focusing on scaling and sustaining complex systems; Your technical acumen will drive the continuous improvement and reliability of our DSO solutions. * You will utilize your knowledge of IT service management principles and practices, such as ITILv4, to enhance customer experience and ensure operational resilience. * You will display your business acumen by developing comprehensive product roadmaps, accurate cost estimates, and optimized support strategies. * You will apply Human-Centered Design (HCD) techniques to refine and automate the customer journey for DSO onboarding, usage, and workload deployments across various production pathways. * You will serve as a BLACK PEARL SERVICE OWNER in the Naval Warfare System Command (NAVWARSYSCOM) Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. You will be subject to random testing. * You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Translating user or organizational business needs to specific Information Technology requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
