PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties As an PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST, GS-0301-11, you will: * Analyzes, coordinates and/or performs a variety of special projects/program assignments and studies leading to the resolution of management problems and improvement of operations. * Independently develops a plan of action and recommends solutions. Coordinates with State ARNG/ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders, and NGB Functional Managers to obtain and exchange information and develop recommendations for management decisions. * Provides management information, advice, and assistance to the State ARNG/ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders on programs/projects assigned. * Analyzes information and data; assesses progress of programs, projects, and processes. * Organizes, manages, and presents information to include recommendations both formally and informally via oral and written means. * Responsible for the work of assigned personnel. * Performs the supervisory and managerial responsibilities. Assigns work to functional staff members in accordance with established organization mission and functions, workload fluctuations and personnel availability. * Develops or directs the development of new or changed internal operating procedures and instructions. * Effects minor disciplinary measures--such as warnings and reprimands--and recommends other actions in more serious cases. Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, providing for or arranging for needed development and training. * Researches and recommends appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact the organization, command, or agency, and which affect the structure and future work of the organization to senior leadership.
