EEO SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties * You will review and analyzes discrimination complaint cases submitted to NAVOECMA for final action. * You will assist with tracking DON-wide discrimination complaints; ensuring timeliness in processing of complaints, and adherence to prescribed procedures from the EEOC, DON, and DoD. * You will analyze DON-wide statistical data and reviews major command submissions to assist with development and submission of the DON Annual Assessment Report to EEOC. * You will draft policy and regulatory interpretations to assure DON mission needs are fully considered by proponents of proposed policies or programs originating externally (e.g., DoD, EEOC, OPM, etc.). * You will assist EEO Program Managers with reviews of the adequacy and effectiveness of major command EEO plans, programs, and achievements. Participates * You will work with program managers in the review of employment goals and recruitment strategies in the occupational areas where barriers to employment exist. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing and analyzing discrimination complaint cases; preparing and drafting decision letters; recommending remedial actions; Develop and disseminate command policies, procedures, interpretations and guidelines to implement and comply with governing laws and regulations.
