A week in the life of anITHelp Desk Support Specialist: * Use software systems engineering and applications skill sets to execute resolutions for service restoral to include root cause analysis reporting. ; * Serve as the first level technician (Tier 1) for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email. * Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. * Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. * Walk the customer through the problem-solving process. * Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. * Provide accurate information on IT products or services. * Record events and problems and their resolution in the Remedy ticketing system. * Follow-up and update customer status and information. Job Requirements * The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Help DeskSpecialist * High School Diploma Required * CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent required Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
