Supervisory Budget Analyst with Security Clearance

Duties * Evaluate work performance of subordinate staff engaged in budget development and execution for worldwide programs of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC). * Administer funds issued to the Command. * Establish financial management procedures for review and surveillance of fund subdivisions and limitations. * Monitor the execution of funds to ensure resources are efficiently used or reprogrammed to meet program objectives. * Provide guidance, direction, and control on all phases planning and developing budget estimates. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves using detailed knowledge of budget procedures and requirements to formulate, review, edit, consolidate, and justify budget estimates; adjust data in related forms and schedules to execute the Command budget; and apply analytical reasoning to identify budgetary issues and develop alternatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
