Duties * You will serve as the NRL Student Programs Coordinator. * You will plan, develop, and coordinate special training programs. * You will conduct summer orientation programs for the students in SSEP, PAACTSEP and Pathways programs. * You will maintain various reports and tracking databases/spreadsheets for student programs. * You will maintain spreadsheets to track numerous items, such as RPA's, student applications and selections, and student hires. * You will serve as a backup for HR Assistant work like entering RPA's into tracking system, sending RPA's to OCHR and coordinating new employee check-in. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one of which is equivalent to the next lower pay band (NO-01) or GS equivalent (GS-4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1. Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2. Plan and organize work; and 3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
