Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resource Specialist (Recruitment and Classification) in the Human Resource Division of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Duties * You will serve as the Supervisory Human Resources Specialist for the Recruitment and Classification Division. * You will advise management on recruitment/placement strategies, position classification and organizational structure, and strategic planning. * You will set and track metrics for HR program quality and customer satisfaction, including administering customer surveys, tracking quality/quantity metrics and validating the technical and regulatory sufficiency of HR services. * You will serve as consultant in providing strategic approaches to pay and compensation. * You will develop, modify, conduct and/or oversee the presentation of basic and refresher training in personnel staffing policies and procedures in such areas as recruitment, classification, job analysis, crediting plan development and compensation. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supervisory Human Resource Specialist ( Recruitment/Classification) specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing expert knowledge of and advanced skills in applying a wide range of human resource theories, principles, laws, and regulations covering strategic human capital planning, position classification, recruitment and placement in order to identify interrelated problems, draw conclusions and recommend appropriate course of action. Specialized experience must include the following: 1) Leading a group of team members formally, or informally to complete a project, or a large and complex HR program task that involves 2 or more organizational codes or functions; 2) Advising management on recruitment/placement strategies, and position classification; 3) Solving complex problems related to staffing (e.g. hard to fill, conditions of employment, pre-qualifications issues); 4) Interpreting and applying classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions; 5) Providing guidance on approaches to pay and compensation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; 6) Providing strategic HR advice and guidance to management in order to execute staffing plans, reorganizations, and other HR related program areas related to staffing and classification.
