Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties * Support Army Commands (ACOMs), Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), and Army Direct Reporting Units (DRUs). * Receive insider threat triggers from the INSCOM Security Operations Center (ISOC) from a multitude of sources. * Provide support to security professionals across the Department of the Army (DA). * Assist in the development of security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). * TDY Travel may be required 15% or less of the time. * All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
