Duties * You will use computer software applications to document technical work, compile data, prepare reports, or perform research. * You will review contractor's data (e.g., drawings, designs, specifications, delivery schedules) to verify compliance with contract data requirements. * You will develop specifications and associated drawings to document Ship maintenance and modernizations project requirements. * You will analyze and review technical engineering instructions and procedures. * You will review preventative maintenance plans or schedules and specifications of all facilities to provide guidance on repairs and preventative maintenance. * You will create written reports to disseminate program information across maintenance organizations. * You will supervise the planning, scheduling, repair, and maintenance of transformers, high voltage cable, generators and switching operations for the electrical distribution system and similar work on the water, steam, OWWO, and wastewater systems. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, preparing, and assigning work to be accomplished for short term priorities with the consideration of difficulty and capabilities of employees; 2) Supervising the planning, scheduling, repairing, and maintenance of transformers, high voltage cable, generators and switching operations for the electrical distribution system; 3)Reviewing utility system drawings, contract specifications, and the identification/evaluation of utility studies; 4) Planning and prioritizing all major maintenance, repair, modifications, and improvements to the utility systems; and 5) Providing senior leadership to identify development and training need of employees..
