Duties * You will develop technical engineering documents (e.g., proposals, task statements) for weapons systems development. * You will advise management in the resolution of problems detected within electronics engineering or technical support service programs. * You will calibrate, maintain, repair and troubleshoot CASS (Consolidated Automated Support System) ATE (Automatic Test Equipment). * You will evaluate adequacy of test equipment to repair, calibrate, or test electronic components. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * This position requires rotating shift work. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expertise for the CASS (Consolidated Automated Support System) family of testers ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) with respect to calibration, maintenance repair and troubleshooting. 2) Analyzing technical engineering proposals and available technical data to advise on feasibility of proposals 3) Preparing or reviewing assigned portions of detailed engineering specifications for procurement package documents. 4) Conducting technical reviews of contractor engineering work for redesign, design modification, and complete overhaul of production systems 5) Designing and prototyping TPS hardware and software in addition to providing technical documentation for production of designed TPSs.
