Duties * Responsible for planning, documenting, and delivering threat capability assessments and Operational Environment (OE) requirements in support of current and future threat force capabilities. * Represent the Director, Modeling and Simulations Division in focused working groups, Integrated Process Team/Integrated Concept Team (IPTs/ICT) and other meetings. * Evaluate and interpret Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Army, Joint, Dept. of Defense (DoD), and non-DoD regulations and guidelines related to modeling and simulation. * Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of kinetic and non-kinetic effects using Political, Military, Economic, Social, Information, Infrastructure, Physical environment, and Time (PMESII-PT) operational variables as the metric of analysis. * Conduct and lead a team of contractors in analysis of practical and theoretical issues regarding threat combat operations, doctrine, tactics, system effectiveness, force structure and the deployment/employment of Intelligence capabilities. * Execute Army requirements determination for procedures pertaining to the Intelligence Warfighting Function, OE, threat task force structure and threat systems to inform senior decision makers on the ability of current and future threat capabilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Employee must have a Top Secret, Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance. * Position requires approximately 30% TDY. Experience planning, developing, and preparing Military Intelligence requirement documents dealing with organizational designs and organization structure, staffing and equipment. AND 2. Experience developing capability requirements such as doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy solutions. AND 3. Experience analyzing projected threat and current Intelligence and Electronic Warfare capabilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: * Intelligence and Threat Support (I&TS)
