The Role The Material Handler II - Federal (Warehouse) is responsible for receiving, tracking, shipping and documenting materials for various customers programs. The Main Responsibilities * Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices * Maintains accurate records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items * Must be flexible to work on call and or shift differential schedules * May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, etc) * Provide excellent customer service * Maintains warehouse and inventory of equipment and equipment spares * Handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines What We Look For in a Candidate Education and Experience: High School degree or GED certificate
1 year previous Logistics and Warehouse experience
Security Requirements: US Citizenship required
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation) Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications. Location Based Pay Ranges $44138 - $73563 in these states: VA. As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs. Salary Range Salary Min : 44138 Salary Max : 73563 This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
