Duties * You will manage a team responsible for reliability engineering/Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) modeling. * You will ensure validation of RBS models prior submission to the Maritime Allowance Readiness Based Sparing Re-provisioning and Change review Board (MARRC-RB). * You will assist in the development of the agenda for Maritime Allowance Readiness Based Sparing Re-provisioning and Change review Board meetings. * You will facilitate Readiness Based Sparing related discussion during Maritime Allowance Readiness Based Sparing Re-provisioning and Change review Board meetings. * You will organize, plan, assign and direct new and on-going work. * You will set objectives for and evaluates subordinate's work. * You will establish goals and priorities within project and other parameters. * You will prepare written plans and reports and to make presentations to interested parties on program/project status, problems, milestones, scheduling, cost, etcetera. * You will formulate approaches to resolve technical issues, reviews proposals for work, and decides on controversial proposals and issue. * You will support the development of Naval Innovative Science and Engineering (NISE) project proposals, as well as the execution and management of Naval Innovative Science and Engineering projects. * You will recruit, staff, and develop personnel for reliability engineering/Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) modeling. * You will manage a product line business plan, forecast workload, and identify resource requirements, develop and manage budgets and operational plans of action, establish and adjust priorities, and monitor status. * You will ensure employee compliance with all Command policies and instructions. * You will perform administrative functions including timekeeping, managing leave, overtime and compensatory time, Defense Travel System travel management, telework management, Individual Development Plan management, and performance management. * You will conduct succession planning to include mentoring/coaching, employee cross training, process documentation, such as, desk guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc. * You will ensure workforce is educated and aligned with the Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) Campaign Plan/Strategic Vision, as well as the Command Mission/Vision/Guiding Principles. * You will maintain System Authorization Access Request Navy management, records, Enterprise Safety Application Management System safety program management, and training management, to include Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act continuous. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 grade level or pay band (GS-9/11 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting and engineering team in project management lifecycle, by performing project financial management and task planning to support the commands mission. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
