Summary You will serve as the Chief of Staff in the office of the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)). If selected, your salary will be set in accordance with the established control points of this position, which is $139,395.00 to $181,860.00. Duties * You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning. * You will facilitate and coordinate the development of acquisition strategies within the PEO(T) Portfolio. * You will facilitate and coordinate the development of comprehensive program plans to deliver integrated warfighting capability within required cost, schedule and performance parameters. * You will facilitate the identification of resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities) for life-cycle management of the assigned program with multi-year acquisition and support plans to develop budget inputs. * You will provide military requirements and asset data within assigned program offices and direct the management of military personnel resources in PEO(T). Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance. * This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. * This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Analyzing needs and synthesizing requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning; (2) Facilitating and coordinating the development of acquisition strategies within the PEO(T) Portfolio; (3) Facilitating and coordinating the development of comprehensive program plans to deliver integrated warfighting capability within required cost, schedule and performance parameters; (4) Facilitating and coordinating the identification and defense of resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program and integrating resource requirements with multi-year acquisition and support plans to develop budget inputs; and (5) Managing the PEO(T) military manpower management program.
