Senior Sales Manager (Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) Remote-Power Equipment) Job Summary
Our client, a leader in industrial power generation, seeks a Senior Sales Manager to maximize business opportunities in Central/South America and the Caribbean. They specialize in delivering high-performance, reliable, and innovative products to clients worldwide. As they continue to expand their market presence and serve diverse industries, they need a dedicated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives and drive growth in their EMD remote power equipment segment.
Position Overview: The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and expanding the customer base for EMD remote power equipment for continuous service. This role demands a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of EMD technology, electricity, power generation and switchgear equipment. Candidates should be bilingual, have strong sales development skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the sector.
Senior Sales Manager – Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) Remote Power Equipment Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and drive revenue growth in the EMD remote power equipment segment.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to drive product adoption and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
- Identify opportunities for remote power solutions within multiple countries
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to track progress, identify trends, and guide resource allocation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of EMD remote power equipment portfolio, technical specifications, and applications to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
Senior Sales Manager (Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) Remote-Power Equipment) Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required
- 10 years of sales experience in the remote power industry with a focus on EMD or diesel-electric power equipment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and visit project sites.
