We are recruiting a Product Owner to define and promote product user stories and requirements in complex, cross-team impacts in an Agile framework. The Product Owner will work closely with the customer to understand and document business needs. You'll manage and groom the product backlog of Jira tickets in support of the reporting functions of a large database.

During your first few weeks in this Product Owner role, you can expect to take on some of the following:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (enablement, technology, and operations) to develop and support the product offering
  • Assist with coordinating product development and collecting and analyzing data to determine the effect of products in production
  • Contribute to the development of the product line strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis of the business and market landscape
  • Surface and track cross-functional dependencies and schedules to reassess priorities and manage releases
  • Dive deep into customer needs, user stories (high-level functional and non-functional requirements), and edge cases

We are looking for a Product Owner with at least 3 years of experience and knowledge of cloud technologies, agile tools (Jira), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc). Additional qualifications include:

  • Two years of college and 5 years of professional work experience OR a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional work experience
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed agile development teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Ability to put a decision-making framework around complex/unclear problems
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing skills, and verbal and written communication skills
