Seider Heating, Plumbing and Electrical, a force in the local home comforts industry, is looking for experienced HVAC Installers and Service Technicians in Waukesha, WI.

Requirements:

  • Installer: 3+ years of HVAC field installation experience
  • Technician: 3+ years of HVAC field service experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Installer:
  • Installation of HVAC units, including electronic and mechanical components
  • Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components
  • Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components
  • Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work
  • Installs, maintains and repairs computerized electronic pneumatic and digital direct control devises related to HVAC and heat control
  • Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments
Technician:
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
  • Assisting with customers’ questions and professionally representing Seider to the public.


About the Company:

The story of Seider Heating, Plumbing and Electrical begins in 1912 with a hardware store, but today, Bryan Seider and his son Blake operate the four-generation, family owned and operated business now known as Seider Heating, Plumbing and Electrical. The residential business continues to thrive under the Seider branded namesake, and commercial installation is distinctly branded as Envira-Tech. Seider currently employs about 70 techs, installers, customer service personnel, and sales staff through its corporate office in Waukesha. Seider Heating, Plumbing and Electrical, Inc. is in the home comfort business-providing preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and service for residential and some light commercial systems.
