Rheumatology Opening in Norwalk, Connecticut (Suburbs 50 miles from New York City)

Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a 4th Rheumatologist to join our established and growing practice in Norwalk, Connecticut. The ideal candidate should be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Rheumatology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team of 3 Rheumatologists. Full-time and part-time options are available. New and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

There will be some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. We are located in suburban Fairfield County, about 50 miles northeast of New York City and nearby to Westchester County in New York. There is also opportunity for academic affiliation, with optional university faculty appointment as well as teaching and research if interested.

Job Highlights:

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 900+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound. Salary Range: 

$280,000 - $325,000 annually
