Las Vegas, United States Accessible Space Full time

Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI), a nonprofit organization, was founded in 1978. At that time, housing opportunities for adults with disabilities did not exist. Many people in need of attendant and homemaker support ended up in nursing homes. ASI offered a different option in which people could live independently in their own accessible, affordable cooperative homes or apartments and draw on supportive services as needed. ASI’s unique model enabled consumers to share service hours so supportive assistance would be available 24/7/365.

Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP), a program provided by ASI, is a highly recognized leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. We are the only non-profit, post acute comprehensive brain injury rehabilitation program in Nevada serving individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injuries (ABI and TBI), as well as neurological impairments and spinal cord injuries.

NCEP has earned and maintained CARF (Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditations for Interdisciplinary Outpatient Medical Rehab for Adult and Pediatric Brain Injury, as well as Residential Brain Injury Rehabilitation. NCEP is the highest CARF accredited organization in Nevada for Brain Injury Rehabilitation.

We are seeking qualified full time Healthcare Informatics Analyst to join our team.

The Healthcare Informatics Analyst supports clinical services through data-driven initiatives using application and integration of informatics.

Duties include but not limited to: Lead and manage NCEP data and analytics to support quality, safety and operational improvement initiatives. Assist the Director in leading NCEP to institute a data driven clinical team by developing and overseeing methods of data capture, analysis, and effective manipulation as well as visual display to inform and support decision-making. Identify new data-driven knowledge and opportunities for improvement utilizing national CARF, CMS and AACVPR guidelines.

Candidate must have related four-year degree (applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, healthcare informatics, health information management, or related degree). AHIMA Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and/or HIMSS Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) required.  A minimum of four years of successful relevant work experience in healthcare informatics as a quality or application analyst, an applied data analyst, a data manager, or other related healthcare IT position relating to data and quality analysis as well as data aggregation and analysis of key performance indicators and operational metrics. Proficient programming experience using some major programming software such as SAS/Python/R and domain specific languages such as SQL. Knowledge of Hadoop or other relevant alternative data frameworks. Experience analyzing relative healthcare business specific data (clinical, operational and economic).

ASI offers competitive wage and a great benefit package including health and dental insurance, 403b, paid time off, employee assistance program, daily pay, and paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and wellness reimbursement – free parking and a terrific work environment. You will work with the best and brightest skilled multidisciplinary team in an incredible setting.
