We are thrilled to announce we have 2 Space Systems Engineering Operations Technician  positions available that will support one of our premier programs on our Aurora, CO campus or at our Richardson, TX campus. These roles will play a key part in assisting our large program team with metrics, onboarding, meeting facilitation, and various support activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with program leadership to facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication
  • Assist engineering leads in the onboarding and integration of new staff members
  • Support program activities and contribute to team success
  • Support Satellite daily operations
  • Attend meetings and other functions as requested
  • Compile and/or assist in preparation of various documents, to include but not limited to presentations, reports, correspondence, and other materials

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school or Military and/or Intelligence Agency training) and a minimum of 6 years of relative experience organizational groups
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience working on Defense or Intelligence Agency Satellite technologies and/or ground control systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Tools, to include but not limited to: Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and/or Excel

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working with senior leadership on large teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, preferably present information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Prior experience training team members

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
