What an Assembler will do:    
  • Follow work instructions to produce quality products in a safe and timely manner
  • Use various manual and pneumatic tools to fit components together
  • Inspect work for quality
  • Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and work them to test free movement
  • Install pipe and hose for hydraulic systems
  • Disassemble and reassemble, when necessary, to ensure proper, quality assembly of product
  • Test or assist in the testing operation of the completed product
  • Responsible for keeping the area neat and orderly
  • Keep daily records of serial numbers and other paperwork

What you need to be an Assembler:  
  • 6+ months of related experience in assembly, using manuals and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and letters/memos
  • Ability to accurately record data and verify information #worknow
