Technical Sales Manager

Job Overview:

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling our high-quality ceramic capacitors to clients in the aerospace and defense industry as well as in the commercial sector. Your primary focus will be on nurturing leads, converting them into opportunities, and ultimately closing sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for strategic account management, utilizing our Salesforce CRM system to achieve targets.

Responsibilities:

Lead Nurturing and Conversion:
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience through marketing campaigns, industry trade shows and other communication avenues.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Understand customer pain points and tailor solutions to address their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide accurate and timely information to prospects.
Sales Conversion:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to convert leads into opportunities.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts using company standards and targets as a guideline.
  • Close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Strategic Account Management:
  • Manage existing client accounts and build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and align our offerings to meet their goals.
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively address any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
Salesforce Utilization:
  • Leverage Sales Force to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Generate accurate forecasts and pipeline reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience?in technical sales, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, conversion, and sales closure.
  • Strong understanding of ceramic capacitors or related electronic components preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
