Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions to business problems. Analyze and investigate problems with software solutions that have been reported by clients and document the results of their investigations. Perform maintenance of software and correct defects that have been identified during the maintenance process. Run unit tests on software they create, implement test plans, test harnesses and document the test results. Investigate and suggest solutions to defects and problems with software solutions that have been detected during testing. Develop, execute, and maintain automation tests cases and test scenarios. Design test automation framework for web services, APIs, and web-based applications. Work with product team to review business requirements and define functional specifications. Write and develop automated scripts and maintain the automated test suite. Run integration tests with other domains. Coordinate with development team on project development, testing, and integration. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Salary:  $106,106.42 - $143,600.00

What you have

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus one year of related experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills:  Designing and implementing test driven (ATDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) via Specflow to validate REST/ SOAP based Web Service API(s) using RestSharp, objectoriented programming (C#), and design patterns; Monitoring PCF and Splunk logs while conducting Scalability Testing on Web APIs; Developing automated tests for front end applications using Selenium; Troubleshooting with logging applications (Splunk); Automating build and release certification tasks as part of DevOps practices and behaviors; Building and Maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to deploy automated Regression suites; and Atlassian suite of tools including Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.
