We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Operations to join our team at the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership. The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of our organization, including HR, finance, team management, office management, and our central database system. Additionally, the Director of Operations will provide administrative assistance to the team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all departments. 

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership, including HR, finance, team management, and office management.  
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.  
• Manage and maintain our central database system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.  
• Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.  
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, and vendors. 
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of activities. 
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. 
• Lead and mentor a team of administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.   

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. 
• 7-15+ years of experience in operations management or a similar role. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
• Experience working with databases, with a strong understanding of data management principles. 
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. 
• QuickBooks experience is highly desired but not required. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
