Roofing Estimator - Commercial Construction - DCOur client is a highly respected commercial contractor specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope services for government and private sector projects. Known for award-winning craftsmanship and a consistent backlog, they offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and leadership exposure. As a Roofing Estimator, you will play a critical role in the preconstruction process, overseeing bid preparation and cost analysis for projects ranging from $500K to $10M. You will manage one junior estimator and report directly to senior leadership.The Roofing Estimator - Commercial Construction - DC will:Prepare accurate estimates for roofing and building envelope projectsManage 8-10 bids monthly, including new and rebid opportunitiesCollaborate with project executives and senior estimators on pricing strategiesReview specifications, drawings, and contract documents for complianceMaintain vendor and subcontractor relationships for competitive pricingOversee and mentor a junior estimator to ensure quality and efficiencyParticipate in client meetings and presentations as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
