Accounting ManagerSeeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations within a project-driven, fast-growing environment. This role will manage core accounting functions, support financial reporting, and partner closely with project, operations, and executive leadership to ensure accurate, timely financial data.Responsibilities:Oversee daily accounting operations including GL management, AP/AR oversight, month-end close, and account reconciliations.Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, project financials, and variance reports.Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements.Partner with Project Managers and Operations to ensure accurate job costing, revenue recognition, and project reporting.Manage cash flow reporting, budgeting support, and forecasting activities.Coordinate annual audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and workload prioritization.Support system enhancements, including ERP process optimization and reporting upgrades.Qualifications:6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.Experience in construction, energy efficiency, engineering, or project-based industries strongly preferred.Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, and project accounting concepts.ERP experience required; SAP ByDesign experience highly preferred.Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with leadership.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
