Employees are responsible for determining the needs of the caller as quickly and as courteously as possible and responding appropriately.Here's what you'll do when you join us:Direct phone calls and/or send an electronic message to the appropriate areaMonitor attendance of providers and department directors to determine how to best direct callsSchedule patient appointmentsVerify insurance, patient information, guarantor and account information at the time of schedulingConfirm provider appointments by calling patients and reschedule as-necessaryComplete patient claim and edit work queuesCollaborate with other departments to support the revenue cycleProvide excellent customer serviceIf you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:Must be 18 years of age or older.Associate degree in business related field is preferred.An understanding of revenue cycle management with the ability to collect copayments and present fiscal information in a professional and confidential mannerGreat computer skills.Fantastic customer service skills.Ability to discuss financial obligations with patients in a professional and confidential mannerAdhere to all Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital policies.Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.Ability and willingness to cover all Patient Access areas as needed.Perform other duties as required.Grand Itasca brings the benefits of a large and respected health system to our local community.
