Construction Superintendent PositionTen Mile Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to assist in leading and organizing operations as well as tracking workers' performance at our construction sites. You will be a key person for leading the staff towards the completion of a project, supporting them and assisting to interact with the senior management.A qualified candidate should have a solid background in the field on construction projects and possess leadership skills, being able to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. We also expect you to be well-organized and to prioritize safety above everything else.Construction Superintendent Responsibilities Are:Organize the fulfillment of tasks according to priorities and plansMaintain schedules and monitor attendance of crewAssign general and daily responsibilitiesTrain and monitor performance of crew members and trade partnersManage onsite manpower and resources, ensuring they are adequateAdhere to all safety requirements and quality standardsMonitor the use of machinery and equipmentReview and analyze expenditures on a regular basis with Project Manager, ensuring they remain within budgetTroubleshoot problems when they arisePrepare reports on progress to managers, engineers and other stakeholdersConstruction Superintendent Requirements Are:2+ years' experience of working on a Construction Superintendent or other similar positionSignificant experience with construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelinesSignificant experience with residential constructionExcellent understanding of how to read and implement drawings, plans and blueprintsStrong communication, organizational and leadership skillsStrong math and problem-solving skills with an ability to report effectivelyGood physical condition and staminaHigh school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade, carpenter or otherExcavation experience is a plusCompensation and Employment Benefits:Compensation DOEMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement IRA 3% MatchingPaid Holidays(6)Paid time off(5)Safety equipment providedCompany VehicleWork ScheduleHere at Ten Mile Construction we work a standard schedule of M-F 8am-4:30pmEqual Employment OpportunityTen Mile Construction Inc is an equal-opportunity employer and we embrace diversity.
