Dicalite’s core business is selling wholesale products to blue chip customers such as Home Depot, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Cargill, DuPont, Leslie’s Pool Supplies, numerous California wineries, 3M, and Nestle Purina, among others.In 2021, Dicalite launched a direct-to-consumer line of gardening products. These products are marketed under the Harvest Hero brand name ().


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Desktop Support Technician who is eager to use and grow their technical skills. As part of this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting cloud and domain-joined Windows computers, network infrastructure, and mobile devices. Proactively monitoring network connectivity and backup tasks will be crucial in maintaining system availability throughout the organization. You will actively seek opportunities for enhancements, focusing on automating inefficient processes and procedures. Additionally, you will provide adept support and troubleshooting for issues as they arise, while effectively managing assigned project tasks. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced troubleshooting for all desktop technology.
  • Manages and resolves end user or difficult technical support issues.
  • Serves as a resource for documentation of technical solutions through ticketing system.
  • Assists with desktop, server and network infrastructure support assistance.
  • Monitors network connectivity, automated alerts, and routine backup jobs.
  • Works on enhancing skills through training and contributing to projects as assigned.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to users for tickets via phone, email, and remote connection.
  • Responsible for user account provisioning and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of Desktop Support experience preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of desktop technology including hardware, software, and network hardware.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V and backup infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud management tools including Azure, Entra, Intune, and Autopilot.
  • Experience supporting senior level Executives with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience handling complex technical issues while delivering excellent customer service and prompt communication.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
