Position Overview:

The Workflow Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the design team by managing the workflow for corrugated packaging projects. This position ensures that customer specifications and deadlines are met efficiently while optimizing the utilization of the company's converting facilities. The Workflow Administrator will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and maintain clear communication throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Project Workflow Management: Oversee the workflow from project initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of information to customer service representatives.

·        Project Tracking: Maintain and manage project timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines at every step of the process.

·        Cross-Department Communication: Regularly update internal teams on project status, facilitating smooth collaboration across departments.

·        Design Support: Assist lead designers with customer-specific designs, ensuring machine compatibility and operational efficiency.

·        Customer and Sales Interaction: Engage with customers and sales teams to provide updates and gather feedback during the design process, either in person or via telecommunications.

·        Sample Preparation: Relieve designers by preparing samples for sales teams through cutting or digital printing.

·        Customer Approvals: Obtain and maintain records of customer approvals, and enter finalized specifications into the system.

·        Daily Status Meetings: Participate in daily order status reviews to provide updates on design, tooling, and specifications.

·        Tooling Management: Obtain quotes and purchase necessary tooling such as steel rule dies and printing plates. Ensure timely and competitive delivery of tooling while maintaining quality standards. Manage tooling inventory, repairs, and purging as necessary.

·        Ink Management: Coordinate with the production team to ensure that special ink colors are available and aligned with tooling requirements.

·        Brand Management: Oversee Rabb Corrugated’s brand presence across social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), manage internal communications, and promote company milestones.

·        Internal Communications: Create and manage a company information board featuring customer appreciation, key milestones, and celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Graphic Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
