Software Test Engineer

  2. Authoring of quality Test Cases within the designated velocity and timeline
  3. Perform Test Data Analysis and tie it back to authored test cases
  4. Ability to perform test case execution within the designated velocity and timeline
  5. Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive mitigating actions
  6. Be a prominent contributor within the defect triage / mitigation process
  7. Ability to mitigate problems with both business and technical orientated staff


Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Technical aptitude to lean, script, execute automated solutions
  2. Understanding of automation frameworks (Process, Testing, etc.)
  3. Identify and approach problem and draw valid solutions to mitigate
  4. Perform database queries, analyze code, interact with technical resources
  5. Perform Web, Cross Browser, Database, Visualization, Mobile testing


Communication responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Assess quality stability, consult on next steps with both technical and business teams
  2. Guardian of the overall validation process to ensure that quality results are accurately captured
  3. Ability to present facts and figures to get to a logical conclusion


General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Excellent verbal and communication skills (ability to present the facts)
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with work experience
  3. Three – Five years’ experience as a Test Engineer
  4. Database, Query, API, Java knowledge a plus
  5. Knowledge of JIRA, Test Management Tools, Katalon, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin
  6. Fundamental knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Iterative Development)
  7. Fundamental knowledge of Test Driven Development and/or Behavioral Driven Development
  8. Fundamental knowledge of healthcare, insurance, or financial services is a plus
