The ideal Senior Staff Accountant candidate will have experience in dealings with monthly financials, account reconciliations in a mulit-company environment, fixed asset reporting, and prior experience working in either construction or manufacturing/distribution spaces.



Responsibilities


  • Inter-company invoicing and inter-company reconciliations
  • Monthly journal entries including set up, maintenance and posting of recurring entries
  • Prepare and process all Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales, Use, IFTA, and Heavy Vehicle tax returns
  • Maintenance of all equipment in DSW and VP Equipment Master System including all related scheduling (depreciation, acquisitions, dispositions, rentals, insurance schedules, loan collateral, and ad hoc reporting as required)
  • Work in collaboration with Treasury department to verify loan balances


Qualifications


  • 5 years of General Ledger experience in a multi-company, high volume environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with 5+ years Staff Accounting experience
  • Experience with Fixed Assets and GL Accounting in a Construction environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
