Our goal is to build a team of difference-makers who can teach not only strategy and tactics on how to get fit but embody and share the principles that are the foundations for family fitness.
At Iron Flag we have programs for CrossFit, Master's (50+), Classic Strength and Conditioning, Personal Training, Athletic Performance, and Nutrition. We are seeking coaches that have a range of knowledge and the confidence to coach across this range of programs if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Iron Flag is seeking an amazing personality with both Group Classes and Personal Training experience.
o Must have a glass "half full" mindset and bring the energy
o Must be team oriented and dedicated to the mission of our company - family fitness
o Must be customer centric and provide an amazing experience to retain them and keep them coming back.
o Must be active and encouraging on Iron Flag social media channels and help promote gym events.
o Must be a self-starter and interested in working to achieve new clients and growth opportunities.
o Must be a good communicator and open to having hard conversations for the betterment of the company.
ROLES:
Assist in…
…retention of existing clients through amazing customer service, and constant communication with our admin team.
...generating new business and leads
…promotion of all internal offers (both supplements and internal specialty programs) and internal events held by the business by announcing them with the intention of getting clients excited before AND after every session. Not done as an afterthought.
…acquiring new customers through targeted referral programs at both internal and external events, not only limited to class times but in addition social media.
…General Cleaning
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Arrive 10-minutes prior to class.
o Set up auxiliary equipment.
o Always have workout displayed on board prior to clients arriving.
o Make sure all members are accounted for an signed in to the class coach board.
o Greet customers with a smile emphatically within 10 sec of walking in the door (like Cheers where everybody knows your name).
o Must read over internal promotions of the week so it sounds smooth when presenting it to the clients
o Spot check the facility to make sure nothing is out of place
o Review coaching code of conduct
o Active Coach during classes, no cell phones or side chatter.
o Demonstrate all exercises during teaching portion of the workout.
o Thoughtful engagement with members during class.
o Prioritize and execute on project tasks (cleaning, programming, marketing)

PAY STRUCTURE
Pay structure varies greatly depending on a range of factors including experience, education, credentials, accomplishments and really just how much we like you
We know everyone starts somewhere so don't be shy, for us we value connection and energy more than tactical ability to coach.
Group Class Coaching rate is between $15-$30 per class
On-ramp semi-private training sessions range from $20-$30 per person per group (approx. 60 minutes). Training Syllabus provided.
Ongoing 1-on-1 personal training payout ranges from 55-65% of revenue (approx 60 minutes) depending on the exact commission payout (fluctuates based on the package sold). "

2+ years of Crossfit experience required
1+ years of personal training or coaching experience required
CF-L1 or higher preferred
