Responsibilities

  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning
  • Be comfortable driving in varying weather conditions and times of day
  • Use hand-held device for routing, delivery, and customer service.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction when delivering packages to our community
  • Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle

 

 

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  • Salary: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Experience: - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of local roads and routes is beneficial - Ability to navigate using GPS and use a mobile device for completing customer deliveries - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old and Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug test (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
