About the team:
The team has structured billions of dollars in global transactions, including acquisitions of stock and assets, auctions, "cash-out" mergers, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures of stock and assets. They are regionally ranked for Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA and nationally ranked Tier 1 for M&A by the U.S. News and World Report 2023 “Best Law Firms.”
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting and managing due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating transactional documents
- Managing the M&A process
- Working directly with shareholders and clients
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates should have over 3 years of business and transactional experience, including M&A, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.
- High level of academic achievement.
- Superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
- Experience with M&A supporting technologies like Kira.
- Strong interest in continuing to develop M&A practice capabilities.
- Admission to Texas bar
- JD degree from accredited law school
