About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated PC Technician to assist with a Windows 11 rollout at a hospital in Kirkland, WA. This is a 12-month, full-time contract where you will play a key role in imaging, deploying, and setting up PCs for hospital staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • PC Imaging & Deployment: Image PCs with hospital-specific software, deploy them across patient rooms and offices, and ensure smooth functionality.
  • Unboxing & Setup: Handle the physical setup of hardware, including peripherals like monitors and keyboards.
  • Troubleshooting: Verify functionality post-deployment and resolve any technical issues that arise.
  • Peripheral Management: Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Asset Management: Track and record hardware inventory, including serial numbers and user assignments.
  • User Support: Provide basic support to staff during PC setups and transition periods.
  • Compliance: Adhere to hospital IT security protocols and HIPAA compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in PC imaging, deployment, and technical support.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and PC imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT, Ghost).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic network configurations.
  • Must be vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated (including boosters) as a pre-requisite.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical installations in various environments, including patient rooms.


Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, occasional weekends or after-hours to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
