We are seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to drive our online sales and retail operations. This position offers the opportunity to implement cutting-edge sales strategies, optimize our online presence, and cultivate exceptional customer relationships. The job requires the applicant to manage the Piscataway office for 3 days a week and the NYC office for 2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Content Management: Write and edit product content for publication on the company's website and various e-Commerce platforms.
- Product Listing: Coordinate with the team to list products across platforms such as eBay and e-commerce website as they become available in the product inventory.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
- Content Updates: Update new and existing content across e-Commerce platforms.
- Marketing Leadership: Lead the company’s media marketing efforts work closely with remote marketing team, including PPC, email marketing, SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and website UX.
- SEO Expertise: Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies. Act as a subject matter expert for assigned product categories.
- Sales Monitoring: Monitor changes in product sales using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets to stay organized.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and drive traffic to our e-Commerce platforms.
- Retail Operations: Support and enhance retail business operations to align with online strategies.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Logistics : previous experience working with Fedex, UPS, LTL companies for best shipping pricing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an e-Commerce business.
- Hands-on experience in managing, listing, and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals.
- Proficient in product listing on various platforms and knowledgeable about e-Commerce space and marketing strategies.
- Expertise in consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
- Understanding of various platforms and online sales strategies to drive digital sales and website conversions.
- Experience/Knowledge in the Office Furniture Industry and Products preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Must have a vehicle to commute locally in NJ.
- Strong networking and prospecting skills to build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
