We're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our data management strategy. As a Data Governance Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust data governance framework that ensures data quality, security, and compliance. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for data management, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards
* Develop and maintain a centralized metadata catalog and dictionary to document data assets
* Define data access policies and classify assets based on sensitivity, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
* Implement data security, encryption, and access controls to protect sensitive data
* Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure data protection regulations are met
* Lead efforts to cleanse data, maintain accuracy, and implement quality control guidelines
* Develop and implement data quality metrics, monitoring, and audit processes
* Work closely with architects, development teams, and QA teams to ensure data lifecycle management

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience working as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Steward, or similar positions
* 5+ years of experience with data lake, Lambda architecture, and data architecture practice
* 5+ years of experience in data modeling, SQL DBMS, and related tools
* 5+ years of experience in data governance and data quality management
* Experience working with data management tools, data profiling tools, data quality tools, and data integration tools
* Certifications in Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), or certifications in data governance or data quality management are preferred
