Their portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, and are particularly renowned for their expertise in developing state-of-the-art senior living and multi-family communities. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join their team.


Position Overview:


As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development of ground-up senior living and multi-family projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires significant experience with wood frame construction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and logs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in ground-up construction of senior living and multi-family projects.
  • Strong background in wood frame construction is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • OSHA certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
