Location: Raleigh, NC

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm with weekend availability (If your scheduled to work a weekend, your shift the following week will be adjusted)

Duration: Permanent, fulltime


Must Haves:

  • 3 years of apartment leasing experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Competence in operation of telephone, pro-ration calculator, copy machine, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and MS Outlook and community software.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
  • Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
  • Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
  • Ability to successfully pass drug test.


Plusses:

  • Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) or working toward it, or in lieu 4 years of experience.
  • Fair Housing Certification, willingness to obtain prior to interacting with prospective residents.


Responsibilities:

The Leasing Associate is responsible for effectively computing and recording numerical data to keep resident records complete while assisting with the leasing, marketing, and resident relations for the community. The Leasing Associate will perform leasing of the apartment units to achieve physical occupancy of the apartment community.
