Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer at Toque Blanche. The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing and purchasing products for our inventory. The day-to-day tasks include reviewing sales data, placing orders, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Buyer is also responsible for maintaining supplier relationships and optimizing cost and quality.


Note:

Flexible starting date between 8/1/24 and 8/31/24. (We will not be interviewing candidates who need to relocate to the area unless they have precisely this type of housewares buying experience.)


Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with cooking and baking.
  • Experience in retail is a plus
