Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the operational management of all anaerobic digestion and RNG production facilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while maximizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of each facility, including process efficiency improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and resource utilization optimization.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure the consistent production of high-quality renewable natural gas and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of site managers, operators, and technicians to ensure a high level of operational excellence and employee engagement.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, implement contingency plans, and ensure business continuity across all sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and licenses governing the operation of anaerobic digestion and RNG production facilities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence through the implementation of best practices performance metrics, and benchmarking initiatives.
  • Build lasting relationships with outside vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory agencies to foster positive relationships and drive business objectives forward.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering field is preferred; advanced degree is preferred
  • Extensive experience in the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Biogas, or Gas Processing industry
  • Ability to develop operating plans from engineering & electrical drawings
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple operating sites and driving operational excellence initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental compliance
  • Travel will be required (50%)
