We are seeking a Senior Data Management Specialist for our Finance Data Management team, focusing on customer and vendor data management. This role involves reviewing and processing data requests to ensure accuracy and adherence to data quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys collaboration, and possesses strong communication skills. This is a data management process role requiring business acumen, analytical skills, and data expertise—note that it is not an IT role.

Location:

This hybrid position requires on-site work 2-3 days a week at our Inver Grove Heights location.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a queue of data requests from business areas for customer and vendor accounts, ensuring requests are accurate, valid, and completed within service level agreements.
  • Review and return invalid or incomplete requests, adhering to service level agreement targets.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve data incidents in line with service level agreements.
  • Document data management processes with precision and ensure timely updates.
  • Communicate and train team members on master data standards, definitions, processes, and governance tools.
  • Assist in prioritizing daily workloads based on the seasonality of business needs and request volumes.
  • Participate in or lead projects to enhance data management and related processes.
  • Execute data cleansing projects in coordination with data stewards and specialists.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with other data specialists and analysts to resolve data conflicts and escalate issues as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Data Management

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems in data management or a related role
  • Expertise in data domains (customer, vendor, business partner)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
