POSITION TITLE: Manager, R&D Procurement - Clinical Labs and Diagnostics
DURATION: 1 YEAR (Potential for extension)
Location: Durham, NC or Rockville, MD or Philadelphia, PA or Collegeville, PA
HYBRID – must be on site 2-3 days/week at one of the following Client sites
Pay Rate: $69.10/hr on W2
Summary:
Are you energized by a procurement role that allows you to leverage technology to accelerate efficiency and best practices across the business? If so, this R&D Procurement Manager role could be an ideal opportunity to explore.
As an R&D Procurement Manager in Clinical Services, you will be accountable for a category of outsourced services needed for Client’s clinical trials:
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers that secure favorable terms for procurement of goods and services contracts in line with the agreed business requirements
• Ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and supplier performance management is in place to deliver value to Client.
• Lead strategic review with in-depth category knowledge

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in Global Procurement or equivalent function
• Experience developing project plans, executing contracts, and leading negotiations
• Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry experience
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced Degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Mathematics or Science
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Strong oral and written communication skills
