Assistant Superintendent Healthcare ConstructionA respected and steadily growing general contractor focused on healthcare and institutional construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations. This role will be primarily site-based, assisting with both renovation and ground-up projects ranging from $1M to $25M.We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of working in active healthcare environments, can maintain strong communication in the field, and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver high-quality projects.Role ResponsibilitiesWork alongside the Superintendent to manage day-to-day field activities, scheduling, and subcontractor coordinationHelp enforce site safety, housekeeping, and compliance with project standardsPerform regular quality checks to confirm work aligns with drawings, specifications, and infection control requirements (ICRA)Assist with project documentation including RFIs, logs, daily reports, and progress photosSupport communication and coordination between the field team, project manager, design partners, and the clientParticipate in site meetings and help resolve field issues as they ariseWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in commercial and/or healthcare constructionUnderstanding of field operations, construction sequencing, and safety best practicesAbility to read and interpret construction documents, details, and shop drawingsExperience in healthcare environments and ICRA procedures is highly preferredProficient with construction technology platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, etc.)Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsOSHA 30 and/or ICRA certifications are a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k))Company vehicle or vehicle allowanceClear pathway for professional advancement into Superintendent or Project Manager rolesIf you value quality work, collaboration, and building spaces that directly support patient care and community well-being, this could be an excellent next step in your career.All applications are 100% confidentialPlease send your resume to megan.cantone@gogpac.com-- ThanksAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
