The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management to safely, profitable, and timely assigned projects. The pre-construction manager manages the bids in a manner consistent with standards of quality and integrity and will participate in the marketing, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation phases of the assigned projects.Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:Will be responsible for working on several potential projects valued between $10-250m.Provides leadership, guidance, and expertise by defining, implementing, and monitoring department estimating resources, guidelines, best practices, and procedures.Coordinates with a team and senior management to grow the business in line with the firm's strategic direction.Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of submissions.Establishes team assignments and identifies estimating review dates.Oversees and supports several projects from an operational, financial, and resource standpoint.Preconstruction Manager Requirements:Degree educated in the appropriate discipline is highly preferred.Experienced in negotiating bids on new build projects.Strong portfolio of previous work in the relevant sectors.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
