JOB SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer works with CUENTO and designated clients on full scope graphic design conceptualization and production. The role requires the ability to manage multiple clients and projects at once and to develop unique creative concepts based on CUENTO and client brand standards. Experience in traditional and digital mediums is required with expert knowledge in design software. The desired candidate has a passion for sports and entertainment, telling the clients story through the latest social and digital channels.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with CUENTO account services and/or directly with clients to develop creative, original and innovative concepts and produce on-brand, professional print/digital-ready designs.
  • Develop design elements from concept to final execution for a variety of clients and projects, balancing a deadline environment and varying brand standards.
  • Provide expert opinions and creative options to CUENTO and clients based on project needs.
  • Develop creative elements including but not limited to digital ads, website assets, email graphics, print collateral, sales materials, large format signage, merchandise concepts and final art, logos, brand guidelines/style guide.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and standards as well as continuing education around software, techniques and creative executions.
  • If applicable, work with internal creative services team and/or external creative teams/designers to develop and execute full scope projects.
  • Manage project workflow, multi-tasking and timely deliverables based on required deadlines.
  • Work well cross departmentally and collaborating successfully with a variety of individuals and job functions, including presenting professionally and effectively to executives. (With proven track record)

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a creative or design role on a team or agency
  • Must be an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere); Adobe After Effects a plus. Experience in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong knowledge of print, web and social media best practices
  • Ability to successfully manage several projects at once, prioritize assignments, manage expectations of internal customers and be extremely organized
  • Must demonstrate a knowledge of file setup, page layout, typography, color theory, design standards and principles.
  • Positive, friendly and team-oriented attitude
  • Organized, detail-oriented, communicative and resourceful is a must.
  • Experience managing photo and video shoots and knowledge of video and still photography a plus.
  • Experience in the sports/entertainment industry is desired.

Compensation negotiable based on experience.
